With built-in emergency induction port!

Another silly idea which I ended up putting a lot more time into than planned. I love Tali! This was my first time drawing her, and it took me extra time to reference pictures of her and of butterflies. I'm glad I forced myself to do a background; I'm quite happy with it, though I think it borders on being too busy.

Colored pencil, technical pens and white pigment pen.

This is...interesting. I like the idea. It's basically the story of the catapiller turning into a butterfly. Or the ugly duck turning into a swan. Though I never thought her suit was ugly, in ME1 it wasn't as pretty as it was made to be in ME2. Either way, under that suit was a beautiful girl.

I've always liked Tali. Her personality was always a major draw to her character. BioWare didn't have to make her beautiful under the mask, she was already a beautiful person. But it's nice that they did.

I think you did a great job with this.

Thank you! I like your take on this. I didn't really think much about this story-wise; it was just an image that struck me. I like so many of the characters from Mass Effect, but Tali was always a favorite. It's neat to see how her character develops through the series, (along with Liara and Garrus). One of my favorite things about playing through each game back-to-back.

You're welcome :)
I know what you mean. The series played from the first game through the third is most excellent. Watching those characters evolve from beginning up to the end is a major draw to those games. Much like reading a book only with less imagination, yet more control involved. Unlike other games before it, I think it was actually painful to wait on ME3. Having played ME1 & ME2 straight through and then having to wait to see the conclusion, well you get the idea. You get attached to those characters.

Yeah, I somehow got myself to wait 6 months for the price to go down. It was harrrd. Then I bought it right before school started cuz there was a special. Not so smart.. I pretty much devoured it, though, so it didn't take too long, day-wise. It would be easier if I weren't such a frikkin' completionist. EVERY SIDE QUEEESTTT!!
